Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Otto website, services, prescriptions, and any associated clinical or pharmacy services (collectively, the “Services”). Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. About Otto
1.1 Otto is a digital healthcare provider that facilitates access to clinically supported prescription weight-loss treatment through a regulated UK pharmacy and qualified clinicians.
1.2 Otto does not provide emergency services and is not a substitute for professional medical care from your GP, NHS services, or emergency providers (including 999 or NHS 111).
1.3 Otto is a service operated by Whitewater Pharmacy, a pharmacy registered with and regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Otto is not a separate legal entity and does not operate independently of Whitewater Pharmacy.
1.4 All prescriptions accessed through Otto are issued following a clinical assessment by qualified healthcare professionals and are dispensed by Whitewater Pharmacy in accordance with applicable laws, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United Kingdom to use the Services.
2.2 You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using the Services, including during any medical questionnaire or eligibility assessment.
2.3 Otto may refuse to provide the Services or cancel any part of the Services if you provide false, incomplete, or misleading information.
3. Clinical Assessment and Prescribing
3.1 All prescriptions are issued by qualified healthcare professionals following a clinical assessment.
3.2 Completion of an eligibility assessment does not guarantee that you will receive a prescription or treatment.
3.3 Clinicians reserve the right to refuse, modify, or withdraw any prescription based on clinical judgement, safety, appropriateness, or regulatory requirements.
3.4 Otto does not guarantee any specific medication, dosage, duration of treatment, or outcome.
4. Nature of Treatment and Outcomes
4.1 GLP-1 medications and other prescription weight-loss treatments are prescription-only and should only be taken as directed by a clinician.
4.2 You acknowledge that medication effectiveness and weight-loss outcomes vary between individuals. No outcome or weight-loss result is guaranteed.
4.3 The Services are intended to support treatment; they do not replace comprehensive medical care.
5. Your Responsibilities
5.1 You agree to:
a. Provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date personal and medical information;
b. Follow all clinical guidance and instructions provided by your clinician;
c. Notify Otto of any side effects, adverse reactions, or significant changes in your health status;
d. Use prescribed medication only for its intended medical purpose and as directed;
e. Inform your GP or primary healthcare provider of any prescriptions you receive through Otto.
5.2 Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in the suspension or termination of your access to the Services.
6. Fees, Payments and Refunds
6.1 Fees for Services will be displayed to you prior to payment.
6.2 All fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable once a clinical assessment has been completed, a prescription issued, or medication dispatched.
6.3 Where treatment is deemed clinically inappropriate before prescribing, refunds may be issued in accordance with Otto’s refund policy.
6.4 Any refunds issued will be processed in accordance with UK payment systems and applicable law
7. Delivery and Dispensing
7.1 Prescription medication will be dispensed by a UK-regulated pharmacy and delivered to the address you provide.
7.2 Otto is not responsible for delivery issues that arise after the pharmacy has dispatched your medication, including courier delays or incorrect addresses provided by you.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
8.1 Otto will process your personal and medical data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
8.2 Your data will be used for clinical assessment, prescribing, treatment management, regulatory compliance, and related health-care purposes.
8.3 Please review our Privacy Policy for full details. Your use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Otto, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or partners, shall not be liable for:
a. Indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages;
b. Loss of profits or loss of data;
c. Any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law
10. Suspension and Termination
10.1 Otto may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for safety, clinical appropriateness, non-compliance with these Terms, or regulatory requirements.
10.2 Termination may occur without prior notice where patient safety is at risk.
11. Website and Account Use
11.1 You agree not to misuse the Otto website or Services, including attempting unauthorised access or using the Services for unlawful purposes.
11.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials where applicable
12. Changes to Terms
12.1 Otto may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes in law, regulation, clinical practice, or service operations.
12.2 Continued use of the Services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
13.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
13.2 Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
